Climb Errigal's North Side

Difficulty level: Difficult - Steep climb in sections with loose scree (stones) underfoot. Individuals must have a good level of fitness to complete this route and have appropriate hiking footwear (no exceptions). This is a guided climb of Errigal's north side. Clients will be met at the main car park beside Errigal and taken to the summit via the north side of the mountain. After a bit of lunch at summit, the group will return to the car park via the south side (traditional route) of the mountain. Individuals are required to bring their own food and water. Appropriate clothing and footwear is also necessary as the weather can be very changeable in Donegal. Hikes may be cancelled if weather is unsuitable on the day. A new date will be arranged for individuals that have paid a deposit. Cancellations must be received one week in advance of scheduled date in order to have deposits refunded. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made closer to the scheduled date. Hiking Donegal does not provide insurance cover for guided hikes. Clients will be required to sign a waiver prior to undertaking this hike or any hike organised by Hiking Donegal. Clients may seek to arrange their own insurance cover.
